Afgelopen november wonnen we samen met 3 kwekers de prestigieuze Greenovations Award, voor de meest duurzame groene innovatie van 2023. De POTWEB.Met een Potweb wordt de bovenkant van een pot afgedekt tegen het binnendringen van plagen. Met name bij Phalaenopsis vormt potworm een groot probleem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Om de Potweb geautomatiseerd om de plant te krijgen is door Solvent een volautomatische machine ontwikkeld, de Potweb Twister. Het succes van de ontwikkeling is inmiddels goed te zien bij de verschillende bedrijven. Het prototype van de ontwikkelde machine draait al sinds februari 2023 op het bedrijf van Levoplant aan de Herenwerf in Maasland. Daar worden sinds die tijd alle planten van een Potweb voorzien. De resultaten zijn zeer bevredigend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Inmiddels hebben alle kwekers van het consortium meerdere machines staan en zijn er ook kwekers buiten de werkgroep die hun planten van een Potweb voorzien.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
